The Defence Forces are being deployed to three nursing homes due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
25 soldiers are helping to ease staffing pressures in centres in Ballincollig and Douglas, and Ennis in Co Clare.
It follows a request from the HSE.
The Defence Forces says the soldiers will be deployed daily over the coming weeks.
