Crawford Art Gallery in Cork will take another significant step towards its capital project with a necessary four week closure from March 21st.
Works will begin to inform the final design decisions in advance of a planning submission to Cork City Council later this year.
The detailed investigations onsite will mean that for public safety it will be necessary to close the Gallery for a month.
It will mean the Gallery will face less interruption and uncertainty once it goes into the major construction phase in mid-2023.
