County Media Limited which operates Cork’s 96FM and C103 has signed a new broadcasting agreement with the regulator.
The new licence will come into operation on May 01st this year and run for ten years.
The documents were signed at the offices of Coimisiún na Meán. County Media was represented by Chairman Padraic White; Group Station Director Kieran McGeary; Local Sales Director Joy Hennebry and Local Content Controller Brendan O’Driscoll.
Sean Barry, Managing Director of County Media’s parent company, Onic, also attended.
The regulator was represented by its Executive Chairperson, Jeremy Godfrey and Digital Services Commissioner, John Evans.
Coimisiún na Meán decided to re-award the licence to County Media Limited following a public process which commenced in mid 2024.
