Cork County Council has launched the 10th installment of its heritage publication series.
County Cork contains over 300 identifiable settlements some of which are recent and more have origins going back over hundreds of years.
It describes the towns and villages of Cork as places of wonder combined with characters spanning the centuries.
The publication is available in bookshops and more information is available on the heritage section of corkcoco.ie
