All three rural constituencies in Cork were counted in Mallow.
Independent Ireland leader and Cork South West Deputy Michael Collins told C103 an argument has to be made for the Count Centre for Cork South West to return to the constituency and to return to Clonakilty.
This time the count took place at the GAA Complex in Mallow.
While the set up favoured some, those in Cork South West had to travel over 3 hours to reach the count centre.
Deputy Collins says those who would like to come in for the buzz of a count missed out as did the business community of Clonakilty.
