Cork Simon Community requires 4.5 million euro every year to maintain its services.
The homeless charity confirmed the amount to Cork’s 96FM & C103 as they launch this year’s Christmas Jumper Day.
Companies across Cork are asked to hold a day when staff can wear their festive jumpers and make a donation.
