More settled weather is heading for the Ireland in the next few days however it will be rather cold.
Easterly winds are expected to arrive on Thursday here bringing these cooler conditions.
Night time temperatures could reach as low as minus five in parts.
However, Alan O'Reilly from Carlow Weather says the cold temperatures will not be bringing snow.
