The protest is taking place in the city centre
Natasha O’Brien says she will work with the Justice Minister to help change the legislation around all forms of violence.
The 24-year-old has been speaking at a protest in Cork city this evening.
Minister Helen McEntee said yesterday she is willing to work with Natasha and other victims to make changes to the current legislation.
Natasha O’Brien says urgent action is needed; "I'm not particularly happy that I have to do this but I'm happy that I am doing it. Its been a crazy week, its been mental. I've been all over the country, you know I do now want to sit down and put a plan in place with legislation to bring forward to [Helen] McEntee, to our Taoiseach, look you don't even need to do anything - I have the work done. Just change this, thank you".
