Cork based Doctor John Sheehan says there are a number of reasons that Ireland has seen a shortage of medicines recently.
Pressure on the health system here has contributed to many common medicines suddenly becoming unavailable.
Other countries have also been experiencing a shortage in medication and Dr John Sheehan says it has a lot to do with supply and demand.
