Gardai's Christmas Road Safety Appeal is underway.
On Monday night, patrolling Gardaí in Midleton, came upon the extensively damaged car being driven through the town.
The vehicle had a lot of damage including a missing side mirror, however the most notable aspect was the car was without its right front tyre.
After being pulled over by Gardaí, the motorist was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.
