Planning has been applied for a new city centre complex
Planning has been applied to build a 180 bed capacity building on the junction of Lower Oliver Plunkett and Connelly Street, people may know the area as the back of Connolly Hall.
Currently the area plotted are derelict buildings which Starstone Properties Limited hope to demolish and replace with a building ranging for five to ten stories
The developers have a portfolio which includes Southgate Shopping Centre in Drogheda as well as High Street, Ashbourne, Meath
There will also be a gym, restaurant and ESB substation
A decision is due by Cork City Council on April 30th
