People are being encouraged to run or walk a mile in aid of GOAL.
Communities across Cork are being invited to step up together and take part in the annual Goal Mile this Christmas.
This year is the 41st anniversary and the third year of the AIB - GOAL partnership in one of the Ireland's most popular Christmas traditions.
Tens of thousands of people have taken part in the event since the very first GOAL Mile in 1982.
The event helps raise funds for GOAL's work with vulnerable communities in 13 countries.
Over 150 GOAL Mile events are being organised this year with a number across Cork city and county and full details will be announced nearer Christmas.
