Cork Airport surpassed the pre-Covid figures in 2019
More than 1.6 million passengers travelled through Cork and Dublin Airports over Christmas.
It marks a bounce back for travel numbers during the first festive period without Covid restrictions in three years.
137,243 people passed through Cork Airport between December 12th and January 5th which was a 1% increase on travel numbers in 2019.
