Cork Airport is forecast to bounce back strongly as it reopens today following a 10 week shutdown to allow a reconstruction of the main runway.
The first flight out this morning was an Aer Lingus service to London-Heathrow
The runway project was delivered on time and within budget and Cork Airport Managing Director Niall McCarthy says it is the beginning of a new era:
