Revenue made the seizure

Three million euro worth of cocaine has been found hidden in a crate of bananas at the Port of Cork.

43 kilograms of the drug were found in a shipment which originated in South America.

They were discovered after profiling by Revenue officers.

The seizure is part of Revenue's ongoing operations targeting the importation of illegal drugs.
