The meeting will decide the skorts or shorts controversy.

A special congress is to be held on May 22nd to discuss the controversy over the wearing of skorts for camogie players.

The Camogie Association says delegates will decide by a vote to allow players wear skorts or shorts by choice while playing.

It says the decision will rest entirely with delegates.

Cork and Waterford players say they will wear shorts in their Munster senior championship final on Saturday and will not revert to skorts even if told to do so.

A Gaelic Players Association survey highlighted how 70% of players surveyed experienced discomfort while wearing the skort.
