A woman in her 30's has been arrested and charged in relation to a robbery incident at a pharmacy on College Road.
At approximately 11.30am yesterday, Gardaí received a report of an attempted robbery.
A woman had entered a pharmacy on College Road and handed over a note that threatened staff and demanded a list of items.
The woman was unsuccessful and left the scene.
Gardaí from Bishopstown, with the assistance of the Armed Support Unit, carried out a preliminary investigation and a woman in her 30s was arrested shortly after.
She was detained at the Bridewell Garda Station and has since been charged to appear before the courts at a later date.
