Construction of the N22 Macroom bypass is expected to begin in the coming weeks.
Agriculture Minister Michael Creed has confirmed to Cork`s96FM&C103 news that the Cabinet has granted approval to Cork County Council
to award the contract for the construction.
The 280 million euro project has been delayed for years and Minister Creed told us the contractor will be on site very shortly:
