The tourism section of Cork County Council has taken over management of the fund which helps support festivals which target domestic tourism.
It is accepting applications from festivals and events with a minimum spend of 7 ,500 euro which generate at least 350 bed nights in the local community.
65 ,000 euro is available through the fund in 2020 and applications can be made for funding from 500 euro up to 6,000.
County Councillor John Paul O`Shea is encouraging festival and event organisers throughout County Cork to look at the criteria
and consider making an application.
