Met Eireann has issued the status yellow rain warning for Munster and Connacht from 6pm Sunday.
The warning comes as local communities in Cork rally together to cleanup following the aftermath of Storm Babet.
Hundreds of people have had homes and businesses damaged by floods in recent days with the cost of the flood damage in the millions.
Many feel the orange weather warning midweek should have been upgraded to red for East Cork including Abdullah of Salina’s on Main St:
