Other improvement works tonight will have a later starting time.
Work was to take place on the South Douglas Road network in Green Park and this will now go ahead on a new date yet to be announced.
Other works in the area will begin at a later time tonight and there may be a disruption in supply from 9pm until 1am.
Originally these works were planned from 6 to 10pm.
Homes and businesses may suffer reduced water pressure and outages.
