All Dail seats in Cork are filled

There is a recount in Cork North-Central.

All 20 Dail seats in Cork have been filled and Fianna Fail have 7 , Fine Gael 4 , Sinn Fein 3 , Social Democrats 3 , Independent Ireland 2 and Labour 1 , allowing for no change in the recount in Cork North-Central.

Nationally the figures for seats are: (9am)

Fianna Fail 43, Fine Gael 36, Sinn Fein 36, Independents 16, Social Democrats 11, Labour 9,  Independent Ireland 4, People Before Profit/Solidarity 3, Aontu 2, Green Party 1 and Others 1.

Outgoing Health Minister Stephen Donnelly has lost his seat in Wicklow.

Green Party Leader Roderic O'Gorman held onto his in Dublin West , becoming the only party member to do so.

In Dublin Central , a Cork woman took the final seat to deny Gerard the Monk Hutch a win.

Labour's Marie Sherlock , an outgoing Senator, has been returned to serve in the Dail.

The Carrignavar native is a cousin of former Cork-East TD Sean Sherlock.

It was a high profile constituency with Mary Lou McDonald - Gary Gannon and Pascal Donohoe , the other TD's elected.
