529 admitted patients are being treated on trolleys at hospitals across the country.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation says University Hospital Limerick is still the worst affected facility with 105 people awaiting beds.
That is followed by 54 at Cork University Hospital and there are 32 at the Mercy.
