
Bantry General Hospital has seen a sharp increase today in the number of admitted patients waiting for a bed.
Figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show there are 12 people on trolleys in the hospital in Bantry.
The total number of patients on trolleys in Cork hospitals today is 74 with 50 at CUH and 12 at the Mercy.
461 patients are without beds in hospitals around the country.
