Figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show there are 50 people on trolleys at Cork University Hospital and 17 at the Mercy.
University Hospital Limerick has 112 patients in the Emergency Department or in wards elsewhere.
The total number of patients on trolleys in hospitals around the country is 480.
