DNV, the independent energy assurance provider, has announced a major expansion of its Irish operations.

This includes plans to hire over the next two years and the full integration of Enviroguide Consulting into DNV. 

It will create the new roles in engineering, environmental science, and decarbonization advisory by 2027.

Welcoming the news, Taoiseach Micheál Martin says:

“I welcome today’s announcement that DNV is expanding its operations in Ireland, including plans to create a further 200 high quality jobs over the next couple of years. The decision to choose Ireland as a location for DNV's operations and their future is a vote of confidence in our highly skilled workforce and our commitment to sustainability.”

Hari Vamadevan, Executive Vice President and Regional Director, UK & Ireland, Energy Systems at DNV, says:

“At DNV we aim to facilitate the global shift towards a highly decarbonized energy system, in line with the Paris Agreement's objectives. We are delighted to announce our expansion in Ireland and look forward to continued growth in this market. DNV's Irish office is pivotal in providing independent energy expertise and technical guidance, aiding industries and governments in navigating the complex transitions within both global and regional energy sectors."
