The first of three 200 euro electricity credits will be paid to over 2.2 million households from tomorrow.(Tues Nov 1st)
They will be given to both bill-pay and pay-as-you-go customers.
The credit is automatic and people do not need to apply for it.
Two similar payments will be made early next year as part of cost-of-living measures announced in the Budget.
