The East Cork village of Dungourney will play host to a special 1916 commemoration event this afternoon. It's to remember the 27 men from the area who were called to the Volunteer Hall in Cork in 1916. Now 100 years on a monument will be unveiled in their memory in their local area. Chair of the organising committee , Michael Ahern says there are a number of symbolic events arranged for todays ceremony.
