There are new calls for a transport police force to clamp down on illegal activity on trains.

It's after Irish Rail received 105 complaints of antisocial behaviour on the Cork-Dublin line since the beginning of last year.

Many relate to drug use, including a passenger taking ecstasy tablets on a train.

Dermot O'Leary is the general secretary of the National Bus and Rail Union.

He says a dedicated police force for trains is needed.
