I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! presenter Declan Donnelly suffered a nasty spider bite.

The ITV presenter had an unwelcome visit from the creepy crawly on set in the Australian jungle.

Dec revealed he had been checked over by I'm A Celeb medics to ensure the spider wasn't poisonous.

In an Instagram live last night, Ant explained: "We’ve had quite a lot of drama not only on the show, but off the show as well, because Dec had a spider on his neck and was bitten by a spider and the medic was called in to have a look."

The spider had jumped onto the presenter's script before jumping onto him and biting his neck.

Showing fans a photograph of the spider, Dec joked: "The medic said I was lucky to be alive.

"If I wasn’t so fit and healthy, and masculine, I might not have survived.”

Ant replied: "No, she didn't, she said it was a jumping spider and it was absolutely fine."

Last night's episode saw Tulisa exited camp after being voted off the show.

The singer is the third campmate to leave the jungle, after Dean McCullough and Jane Moore.
