Coachford Players Present: A One-Act Night of Theatre
Award-winning drama and a night of laughter, talent, and storytelling at Coachford GAA Hall
Coachford Players are delighted to announce their One-Act Night of Theatre, taking place at Coachford GAA Hall on Sunday November 30th and Monday, December 1st. This much-anticipated evening promises a rich mix of drama, humour, and creativity — a true celebration of local talent and community theatre.
The programme will feature the group’s award-winning, One-Act circuit play “A Safe Passage” by acclaimed playwright Irene Kelleher, a compelling and beautifully crafted piece that has earned recognition across drama festivals for its powerful performances and emotional depth.
Adding variety and light-hearted charm to the evening, the Players will also present three short ten-minute plays from “Calling Time” by Derek Webb. These witty and fast-paced mini-plays explore the quirks of everyday life and relationships — perfect companions to the evening’s main production.
Doors open at 7.30pm, with curtains up at 8.00pm sharp. Audience members are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the welcoming atmosphere and find their seats before the lights go down.
Whether you’re a long-time supporter of the Coachford Players or new to local theatre, this event offers something for everyone — drama, laughter, and a memorable night out in the heart of the community.
Tickets will be available at the door, and early arrival is recommended. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to experience the magic of live theatre in Coachford!
